HIP is proud to offer a new permanent hair straightening service – QiQi Hair Treatment.

QiQi is a vegan, permanent hair transformation that is formaldehyde-free. The unique system with straightening capabilities safely reacts with disulfide bonds without harsh chemicals. The exclusive formula penetrates the cortex and reshapes its structure safely without any concern of hair breakage or drying.

There are 3 different services:

  1. Define existing curl and eliminate frizz
  2. Smooth and defrizz hair without losing all the body, but not completely straight
  3. Makes the hair straight and frizz-free

It takes about 3-5 hours to complete the service. Pricing varies based on length and thickness of hair. The first time receiving this treatment, you must book the package with the masque treatment, which is essential to the QiQi treatment.

Stylist Virginia Sitkowski Joins HIP Salon

HIP Salon is proud to announce that Virginia Sitkowski has joined the Hair Innovation Professionals stylists team.

A stylist for over 30 years, she previously worked in Italy, at Heidi’s Salon, and for 20 years at Artè Salon. She specializes in precision and creative cutting, keratin treatments, perms/textures, blow dying and special occasions styles.

“I pretty much grew up in the industry – my mother is a stylist. With her, I learned to love the creativity involved in the profession as well as loving all the diverse people I am blessed to meet each day! I strive in helping clients look good and feel good about their hair!”

“Thick, course, curly hair is my forte.”

Colorist Yvette Leon Joins HIP Salon

HIP Salon is proud to announce that Yvette Leon has joined the Hair Innovation Professionals colorists team.

Yvette graduated from beauty school and entered the HIP Salon Training Program two years ago, where she has undergone intensive training in colour processes.

Yvette specializes in Balayage, corrective color processes, color melting, highlights, and double processes.

“I love being able to boost my clients’ self-confidence by making their hair more beautiful,” Yvette said.

Stylist Nicole Smith Joins HIP Salon

HIP Salon is proud to announce that Nicole Smith has joined the Hair Innovation Professionals stylists team.

Nicole has more than 30 years of experience cutting and styling hair. She comes to us from Arte Salon.

“I love talking to clients and getting to know their lifestyle so I can help them create a style that’s right for them,” she said.

She specializes in precision scissor cutting, blow drying, perms, and Keratin treatments.

Make an appointment with Nicole for a new cut or a blowout (her superpower).

Models Wanted!

HIP is calling all models – male and female – to participate as models in our continuing education classes.

The best part: you’ll receive hair services for free or at deep discounts, depending on the program.

Every Monday our HIP team comes together while the salon is closed to try out new trends and keep our skills fresh.

We “play” with new precision cutting and styling techniques as well as colour processes and specialty treatments. 

Classes vary weekly.

Kimora Joins HIP Salon

HIP Salon is proud to announce that Kimora Abellana has joined the Hair Innovation Professionals stylists team.

Kimora specializes in precision cutting for women’s and men’s hair as well as specialty hair styling such as up-dos, braids, and hair arrangements for special events.

She also is a Keratin Treatment Specialist, included Magic Sleek.

Kimora has been styling hair for over 15 years. Previously, she worked for Asha Salon & Spa. She attended Arlington Academy to attain my cosmetology license.
